2024 in figures

At the end of 2024, a total of 1 781 last-mile parcel delivery companies had already submitted their notifications on BELparcel, pursuant to the Parcel Act.

95% of the Belgian territory is covered by fixed networks with a speed of 1 Gbps (VHCN), which is well above the European average of 79%.

In cooperation with the customs authorities, the BIPT checks radio equipment at border entry points. As a result, 120 750 non-compliant devices were blocked by the BIPT in 2024.
